The National Disability Insurance Scheme is a government scheme set up to support Australians living with disabilities. The initial roll-out did not go smoothly, raised a lot of questions and the public wanted answers.
So, how do you roll out a nationwide comms strategy in a highly-scrutinized sector, and turn negative social commentary into positive engagement and trust?
We built the strategy from the ground up.
In order to get things rolling right, we rebuilt it from the ground up.
We dismantled every process and untangled every user journey, realigning them with new research we conducted on everyone from participants to stakeholders to advocacy groups.
With this precious data in hand, we developed a comprehensive digital strategy. The strategy was designed to position the NDIS as an engaged carer amongst the community, not just a government body.

Everything from our messaging strategy to the NDIS community guidelines were rethought to address the core issues that previously made the community feel neglected, and the Australian public, unanswered.
To ensure the strategy was sustainable, we also developed a set of tools and templates that would provide the NDIS with everything they needed to consistently deliver on the strategy year on year.
