The curious thinking that powers Circul8
Why taking over Tinder and hearing the earth’s heartbeat are both essential to our story.
“…advertising rewards curiosity…” Alana Stocks, Founder and MD Circul8
Most agencies are started by somewhat battle-scarred industry pros who decide that they know enough about the business to do it on their own. They’re powered by a kind of certainty. Circul8 isn’t quite like other agencies and it’s because our founder’s story is slightly different – it’s powered by curiosity instead.
Coming from a more diverse background and with a passion for the possibilities that the emerging digital and social technologies offered, Alana Stocks, founder of Circul8, was more inspired by exploring what hadn’t yet been done than repeating the past.
That was 20 years ago. In that time the agency has created landmark innovative work for Amnesty by taking over Tinder, won numerous local and international accolades and developed a full service offering across social, digital, branding and fully integrated campaigns.
If you’re wondering what the earth’s heartbeat has got to do with this, the other foundational part of Circul8’s make up is working on things that make a positive contribution to the world.
As a BCorp that commitment remains strong. With the current global uncertainty and the changes that AI is bringing, having a clear ethical outlook helps guide the decisions we make to ensure we offer the value that our clients need – and that lives up to the values we stand by.
